in Tennessee, Mr. Garza has attended numerous programs and colleges to achieve the highest standard of representation possible in the intricate area of Tennessee DUI defense. Mr. Garza has attended the prestigious National Criminal Defense College Trial Practice Institute, the National College of DUI Defense (NCDD) College at Harvard University, the NCDD Mastering Scientific Evidence Curriculum, and is one of only a few Tennessee DUI attorneys statewide to attend the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) Standardized Field Sobriety Test Training courses.
Mr. Garza is also a Life Member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, a Life Member of the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and a Member of the National College of DUI Defense. He also holds memberships as a Board Member in the Tennessee Association for Justice and is a Member in the American Association for Justice.
Mr. Garza is licensed to practice in Federal and State courts across Tennessee and in the United States Military Court of Appeals. In his freetime, Mr. Garza devotes himself to continued training in DUI defense and Personal Injury practice and enjoys spending time with his wife and three young children.
Tennessee DUI, Criminal Defense and Personal Injury Attorney Marcos M. Garza grew up in McMinn County, Athens, Tennessee. After attending Vanderbilt University and obtaining his Master’s Degree from the University of Tennessee, he attended the University Of Tennessee College of Law where he obtained his J.D. in 2001. Since that time, Mr. Garza has handled hundreds of cases, including those he prosecuted in the United States Marine Corps as a Judge Advocate, and those after.
